Who Is Romelu Lukaku?

Another player in the transfer limelight, I wanted to find out a little bit more about Romelu Lukaku, the man described as 'the new Drogba'

Let's get the basic facts out the way, he is 18 years old and is currently playing striker for Anderlecht. He is linked with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid. But who is this hot young prospect?

 Firstly, Lukaku is no normal 18-year-old and he's not a normal striker either. The 6ft 4in hitman is blessed with such fearsome attributes he can do everything a teenager shouldn't be able to - outmuscle defenders, win almost every aerial challenge and bring his team-mates into play. These are amazing talents to have in your locker and opposition defenders must be fearing playing against this beast.

He has scored 31 goals in 61 games for Anderlecht at a rate of under a goal every two games. Very impressive for a young player finding his way in the game.

After looking at a few videos of the man on the internet I can definitely see the resemblance between him and Drogba and I would definitely like to see him in the Premier League. Take a look for yourself at what the lad can do: 

Apparently Chelsea is where he is heading this year for around £20million and I'm sure, should the deal go through, that the player will succeed in the Premier League. I will keep you updated with any more transfer news regarding this player.
