The hammers sign Faye

Sam Allardyce makes his first signing as West Ham manager by bringing in veteran defender Abdoulaye Faye from Stoke on a free transfer, The Stoke Centre half has been reunited with Allardyce for a third time after the gaffer took him to Bolton and Newcastle.
A good looking bloke as well

The big centre back is relishing the opportunity to work with Big Sam again and was quoted saying:

"I am very happy to be here at West Ham - A great club, a big club. I can't wait to get started here"

I would guess that Faye is the replacement for Matthew Upson as I feel there will be premier league clubs after him and I think Faye will make a worthy replacement and will bring much needed experience to the hammers' back line. Very happy to see that we are attracting premier league players even though we are a division below and fingers crossed we can keep doing more of the same, I would love to see more signings and West Ham build a strong squad for next season.

Up the Hammers!
